As the Mayor of a small town, I see the challenges our families are facing every day - from high unemployment to underfunded schools to high taxes. Our families in Pierce and King Counties deserve better than what Olympia is giving them. 

I’m running for State Representative because people in our community deserve a Legislator who not only understands the challenges they are facing, but who will work for them day in and day out in the State House of Representatives. I believe my experience as a former Town Council member, as the current Mayor of South Prairie and as an advocate on critical issues make me uniquely qualified to serve the 31st District. 

For me, it’s not political – it’s personal.
